Belts: Stable Belt (Royal Marine Pattern*) and 58 Pattern Trouser Belt
The 58 trouser belt (olive drab) is to be worn with the trousers in the field for all new Marines who have not fielded with the unit before. After one field event, the Royal Marine stable belt may be worn at the Marines discretion. The Stable belt is a required item to be worn with the garrison uniform as a duty belt outside the sweater around the waist for all Marines. Wearing of the stable belt in the field to keep your trousers up is a sign of having fielded with your mates.
