A co 3rd Battalion 505th PIR 82nd Airborne Division
Level 1 Mandatory Gear
Primary Weapon
M16a1
-Airsoft rifle preferred but blank adapted M16a1s will be allowed in a limited number
-Recommended brand for both variations is G&P which sells for $199 on redwolf airsoft
Woodland BDU Uniform
-Both Hot weather and temperate weather BDU allowed
-Left arm must have subdued 82nd Airborne patch
-Left Breast must have US ARMY tape with Jump Wing patch above it
-Collars must have rank sewn on or pinned
Boots
-Jungle Boots with Panama sole (Preferred) Vibram sole (Accepted)
-Black Leather Combat Boots with Direct Molded Sole (Accepted)
-Combat Boots, Mildew & Water Resistant, Direct Molded Sole (Accepted)
Patrol Cap
-Woodland Camouflage
-Rank sewn on front
-Inverted glow in the dark triangle sewn on back (Optional but recommended)
PASGT Kevlar Helmet
-Woodland Helmet cover with foliage band around helmet.
-Foliage band must have cat eyes on it and be tied down to helmet with 550 cord

-2x Ammo pouches
-2x canteen pouches w/ green plastic canteens
-Compass pouch with pressure bandage left front (Unit SOP)
ALICE Rucksack
-Large Rucksack (Preferred) Medium (Accepted)
-1 x 2 quart canteen and 1x folding E-tool clipped to outside. The 2 quart strap was extended and clipped to small "D" ring on 2 quart carrier around rucksack, through/behind the webbing of each"male" portion of the 3 x lower outside pockets snaps/closures on front. The strap was run through the inside of the plastic e-tool carrier flap (keep it from flapping around) and then behind the frame to be hooked to the other small "D" ring on the 2 quart. The strap was tightened up to keep the 2 quart and E-tool from bouncing around. Both are to be dummy corded to ruck with 550 cord
-Name tape sewn onto top flap (Optional but recommended)
-All excess straps should be rolled and taped with 100mph tape
-Wet Weather bag inside for clothing items
